Dr. Dina Rivera is Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2011. Since completing her training she has been practicing endocrinology in the San Antonio area.
Dr. Rivera brings an extensive knowledge and practice in the management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. Her goal is to get to know her patients and be able to personalize each and every treatment plan based on individual needs. Dr. Rivera also manages thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and calcium disorders. In her spare time, Dr. Rivera enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children, cooking, and exercising. She is fluent is English and Spanish.
